Both portions press-fit into their appropriate holes. 12 pair per package. Hole dimensions: 7/16" for the ball, 3/8" depth. 9/16" for socket into cabinet, 1/2" depth.

This means that even if the guide is not inserted all the way, it will still hold your grill in place. To use, simply drill a 7/32" hole for the pin side and an 11/32" hole for the socket side.
